| These clients encountered John Robert Wiltgen Design surfing the Web. The first time they met they expressed specific wishes: a large kitchen open to the family room, a formal dining room and a three car garage hidden from the street. For the second floor they imagined a spectacular master suite, spacious guest quarters and room for kids. Initially asking for a Miami Beach style Art Deco façade Wiltgen encouraged them to keep an open mind. The result is a structure reminiscent of the classical look pioneered 500 years ago by one of the world's most influential architects, Andrea Palladio. A home elegantly sparse in its simplicity, a concept that carries through to the strong contemporary interior the owners sought. John Robert Wiltgen Design prepared the architectural plans, interviewed potential general contractors, and provided on site construction supervision to ensure the quality and craftsmanship that went into this Lincolnwood, IL home. |  |
