CHICAGO PLACE RENOVATION

The purchase of this residence signified a move for the client from suburban Evanston to the city. The family’s Realtor recommended John Robert Wiltgen Design because they had done so many homes at The Residences at Chicago Place. Artwork and furnishings with sentimental value were integrated into this luxurious condominium. Several years later, they called upon JRWD to provide architectural and interior design expertise for their weekend residence.

Dining Room

A bay window inspired the boat shape of this dining room. Astutely integrating art, architecture and design, JRWD repeated this silhouette in the shape of the room, the dining table and the intricately patterned rug, which is a JRWD original.

A sleek chrome and glass wall mounted sink echo the lines of the painting, without distracting from the art.

Master Bedroom

An entirely upholstered bed and layered window treatments create a soothing master bedroom and absorb the noise from Michigan Avenue.
