This remarkable Beaux Arts building, the former Ambassador West Hotel, located in Chicago’s Gold Coast, was converted by L3 Developers into 38 luxurious residences ranging from $1.6 to $6 million.  John Robert Wiltgen Design created the interior architectural details and finish specifications for the exquisite lobby and common areas.  The result is a dramatic space which interprets the building’s significant history, landmark status and price point.  Its timeless elegance befits a building, which for decades, welcomed royalty and celebrities.  In 2005, The Home Builder’s Association of Greater Chicago awarded JRWD with a Gold Key for the lobby design.
